Aiight! I admit it! I watch the House wives of Atlanta! NeNe Leaks is my favorite on this particular dispensation of the show. The lady most defiantly has a serious sense of style, and the fact that she seems to know her way around a street fight aint bad either! Although I was kinda taken at a pause when she opted for the nose job I think she looks fine! I thought she was fine without the work being done, however its not me in her body that has to look in the mirror and be satisfied. If you have the money and you want it done then do what you do!

NeNe Leaks I think right now is showing great strength to women everywhere while in her current place of being in a marriage with a serious pit fall right now. She may have been knocked down but the sistah has gotten back up and she placing one foot in front of the other and she is seriously walking it out. You have to respect that, you have to encourage that, and you have to appreciate that in a woman who is having to go through this private matter while having it publicly televised for all to see on Sundays via the Bravo network!

My introduction to Ledisi

Okay Those of you who know me know I really don't follow or listen to much secular music. One reason is I feel the music is dying slowly and its like we are all watching it be murdered in slow motion but cant seem to move our feet to aid it. I was way to over impressed when I heard the sounds of a woman who took me back to my musical roots within a thirty second time frame.

LEDISI! Ladies and Gentlemen, I was floored overwhelmed and jaw dropped in one setting! This chicks voice is convicting and nurturing all at the same time, while giving sound guidance and still sever enough to slap you! In this case to be abused was okay as she embraced me and then assaulted me and then made me believe and know it was my fault as I hit the repeat button so she could do it all over again!

Lips don't lie!

Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! We are in a new year with a new opportunity to set and raise the bar!

This year I am challenging all of you to take better care of your lips, always keeping them moisturized, and adorned. If your changing your aesthetic this year to a more eye catching setting, then you can't leave the lips out! Men love the lips! Soft, juicy, lined or glossed, we dig it! For me personally the more gooey the better! "Lip Gloss" the necessity so needed that they made a song about it! Keep the lip gloss poppi'n ladies! Don't be afraid to use your liners and finish with shaded glosses or to use your lip sticks and go over top with a high glossy ooey gooey finish(lol).

Burning the midnight oil

In just a few hours I will be molding, shaping, cutting, coloring, and curling some of the greatest styled individuals in my city! Why in the world would I go in at midnight ? That's simple because I know my clients appreciate it, I enjoy it, and it pays these big peoples bills I have! See you soon!

Day Care Dilemmas

Why is it that great affordable day care is an oxymoronic statement? If you are a working professional, a student with kids, or even a stay at home mom who needs the break every now and then, why is it that there are always continual issues at the sess pool of life that we like to call day care?

Be it the horrible aroma of rooms that have not been wiped down right, the horrible greetings when you walk through the doors, or the multiple kids walking around with the honorary thick green gunk under the noses of every child you pass by as you simultaneously ask yourself why the attendants in the room aren't wiping noses.

Some things we deal with and overlook while others irritate us to no end. Day cares with little or no curriculum at all, children who are thrown in a room and playing all day while napping in between fights for toys. The over worked teacher in the room who is way beyond quota with no help or assistance while the director of the center rarely leaves his or her perch(office) only focusing on how to expand next years profit margin for yet another plaque on the wall.

As parents we often fall into the trap of putting things out of our minds so we can just get to work and hurry and get back to day care to get our kids, the day cares I feel know about this space we fall into and therefor profit from it! I think when looking for a great day care facility you should do your research as these are your children you are dropping off into the care of  these people and this institution, you know in the first three minutes if the place is going to work for you. Always go with your gut instinct about the place, and never be afraid to ask for question, references, and accreditation's.

Contact the directors on a regular basis, seek communication with the district managers. If you have a difficult time getting a one on one meeting with any person associated with the day care of your choice that should reflect on how important a day care provider sees you and your family.

Lashes

Okay! You have thought about it, but never tried it and you want to break out of your shell from the same ole thing! LASHES! They are the most subtle approach to beauty. Though noticed but some how never pinpointed, they are the essential necessity to every woman's beauty kit!
